The cyber-world is a hot topic in the modern world. With the advancement of science and technology, the human race is trying to excel in their proficiency to compete with the creations of nature. The cyberworld is definitely the first step towards the same path. The Internet is something that mankind feels to be an essential part of life. We are living an era where life would nearly come to a standstill without the use of this technology. We have got into the trap of this cyber world, for which we have created the entrance.

What is Cyber Security?

Cybersecurity refers to the body of technologies, processes, and practices designed to protect networks, devices, programs, and data from attack, damage, or unauthorized access. Cybersecurity may also be referred to as information technology security.

The Importance of Cyber Security?

Mainly there are many reasons that cybersecurity is important for us. As usual, almost all the companies departments and all the sections of the modern world are using the internet for their day to day purposes. Not only that they store their important data on computers and other devices

Cyber Security is important because the government, military, corporate, financial, and medical organizations collect, process, and store unprecedented amounts of data on computers and other devices. A significant portion of that data can be sensitive information, whether that be intellectual property, financial data, personal information, or other types of data for which unauthorized access or exposure could have negative consequences. Organizations transmit sensitive data across networks and to other devices in the course of doing business, and cybersecurity describes the discipline dedicated to protecting that information and the systems used to process or store it. Mainly for protecting these important data and facts we use cybersecurity.

How cybersecurity is happening?

For Good and effective cybersecurity, an organization needs to coordinate its efforts throughout its entire information system. Elements of cyber encompass all of the following

1.Network security: The process of protecting the network from unwanted users, attacks, and intrusions.

2.Application security: Apps require constant updates and testing to ensure these programs are secure from attacks.

3.Endpoint security: Remote access is a necessary part of business, but can also be a weak point for data. The endpoint security is the process of protecting remote access to a company’s network.

4.Data security: Inside of networks and applications is data. Protecting company and customer information is a separate layer of security.

5.Cloud security: Many files are in digital environments or “the cloud”. Protecting data in a 100% online environment presents a large number of challenges.

There are many more ways and different types that this process can happen so I think cybersecurity will be much important in future
